The A-10 Thunderbolt II, or the "Warthog", is a GDI ground support aircraft that appears in the singleplayer of Renegade.
Background[]
The A-10 is built for survivability. It is armed with a 30 mm nose cannon that can easily destroy an enemy column, and rockets to take out ground targets.
Overview[]
In-game, the A-10 is merely a background prop or part of scripted cutscenes. It is not available in multiplayer.
Trivia[]
- In The Scorpion Hunters, despite having "titanium construction", one A-10 is shot down almost immediately after dropping it's payload (if it has ever dropped it).
