Anti-aircraft base defense
Twin Gatling cannons
Medium (75% Cannon, 50% Rocket, 100% Grenade, 25% Gun, 1% Sniper)
0.01 seconds, each burst lasts 0.53 seconds
Background[edit | edit source]
The AA Battery boasted twin 30mm Gatling guns loaded with depleted uranium shells (which could be replaced with tungsten shells). Like other GDI base defenses, it was equipped with next-generation sensors capable of detecting stealth units. With a deadly accurate fire control system and a staggering rate of fire, the AA Battery was very effective against any form of aircraft.
Gameplay[edit | edit source]
AA Batteries served as GDI's main defense against hostile air targets. While not as potent as its rivaling Nod and Scrin counterparts, AA Batteries enjoy several luxuries; They are very efficient, firing on targets, for as long as it is within range, and utilising hit-scan shells which do not lose track of the target when it either gets out of range or engages stealth.
In Kane's Wrath, they can be upgraded with Tungsten shells to improve their firepower.
Upgrades[edit | edit source]
|Tungsten shells||Provide AA Batteries with an even faster means of ripping through enemy aircraft (Ctrl+D).||Purchasable at any Tech Center for $2000 and takes 1:00 to research. (Kane's Wrath only)|
