This article is about the Commander's Challenge mission. For the Red Alert 2 map, see Blood Feud (Red Alert 2 map).

In the Empire of the Rising Sun, battlefield commanders settle their disputes and trade their honor by conducting elaborate wargames, such as the one you are bout to interrupt. After all, we could use a better understanding of Imperial tactics and military traditions. Together, your opponents here may pose a threat, but their tradition dictates that such duels must never be interrupted. So why not let the venerable Commander Shinzo and his wayward protégé Kenji wear each other down before you send them both packing?
- Challenge briefing

Blood Feud is the second main challenge in the Commander's Challenge.

Background[]

The FutureTech Commander interrupts a wargame between Kenji Tenzai and Shinzo Nagama in order to obtain more information about Imperial military tactics and traditions.

Strategy and notes[]

  • Kenji and Shinzo will fight each other and ignore the player. If the player attacks/kills one of the opponents' units/structures or captures one of their structures with an Engineer, they will stop fighting and team up against the player. If an opponent commander is defeated without the player's intervention, the remaining enemy commander will attack the player as normal.
  • As Rising Sun, one quick method is to send Dojo Cores and unfurl them into Instant dojos near each opposing base, then train several Imperial engineers and place them near each structure within the opponents' bases. Use Planning Mode to queue each engineer into capturing the structures, so that they each capture the structure at around the same time upon initiating all of the queued actions. This tactic only works in the PC version due to the lack of Planning Mode in the Xbox 360 and PS3 console ports.
