Tiberian Dawn[edit | edit source]
If the player chooses the White House as a potential target, the Ion cannon destroys the building and leaves two sides of it burnt as the fire spreads out all over the damaged complex of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Like the three attacks for a very different ending, the news presenter said that the G7 leaders were angry and issuing formal statements to the United Nations denying any complicity to last Tuesday's attack on Fielding's oval office which was his own residence. The official death toll passed six hundred with twelve more bodies being pulled from the rubble. The White House was known for being the seat of western democracy. The U.S. President, Robert Fielding who was safe at Camp David at the time, irritated at the Global Defense Initiative for its own policies and security to the Ion cannon before saying it was a "mind numbing accident".
The GDI Supreme Commander, Mark Jamison Sheppard admitted he had no idea to who fired the strike and blasted Robert Fielding's oval office with it. If it was Bierman's Brandenburg Gate, Prichard's Paris Tower or Weatherell's Parliament House, Sheppard would admit the same thing to the senate congressional hearing alongside the U.S. attorney general, Nancy Griffith to talk about the whole incident and to safeguard all advanced weapons under General Sheppard's own authority.
