The chemical supply center process and store dangerous chemicals from the newly discovered Tiberium creture titled as Veinhole monsters. These particular chemicals were manufactured from 'harvested' Tiberium veins from Veinhole monsters via specially designed vehicle called weed eater. The harvesting operation bear similarities with normal tiberium harvesting operation.
GDI commanders should destroy them to slow down Nod's Chemical missile production, but they should also be aware of Tiberium gas clouds when destroyed. For Nod, the building and the weed eater is authorized only when a Veinhole is identified and if Nod have interest in using the chemical missile. The building is capable to storage enough for two chemical missile warhead load. When the capacity is reached the rest of harvested weed is reprocessed into a less dangerous but otherwise practically unusable chemical that will be dumped elsewhere.
