Cult guards are elite members of the Bolivian cult led by Mortimer.
Background[edit | edit source]
They are tasked with guarding vital cult locations, most importantly the Temple of the Tacitus. They carry powerful automatic rifles and military grade battle armour both of which were scavenged from military bases scattered in South America. This, coupled with their skill in combat, made them an adversary not to be taken lightly.
In addition, they are ferocious soldiers, and they attack anyone that dared to venture onto their grounds and caused destruction to the environment.
Story development[edit | edit source]
However, most of the Cult guard had committed suicide when their leader, Mortimer, was killed by the Ghostalker. The unlucky ones ended up getting slaughtered by Ghoststalker himself or the prototype Juggernaut.
In-game[edit | edit source]
Their in-game appearance is identical to that of Light infantry, but they are far more powerful. It takes three hits from Ghoststalker's railgun to kill one of them, and two were more than a match for Ghostalker himself.
