Vulcan Cannon, various missiles and bombs
Background[edit | edit source]
Powerful and fast, it mixes speed and firepower with compact size, allowing it to be fielded from carriers.
Appearances[edit | edit source]
Units operated by the GDI are often used against high-value targets behind enemy line and therefore rarely participate in direct support of ground troops, a task the A-10 Thunderbolt II is designed for, although successful GDI ground offensives often end up clearing a path for the airstrike to proceed unmolested by Nod surface to air missile sites.
At the end of the First Tiberium War these planes were replaced by the Orca fighters.
