Infantry squad leader
|The following is based on the spin off novel by Keith R. A. DeCandido and might contradict canon.|
Background[edit | edit source]
He is very fond of the Pacific Ocean and often thinks of its beauty. When promoted to Corporal, he got a ti-too (a tattoo using Tiberium instead of ink).
Character development[edit | edit source]
Because of his loyalty, it was much to Isembi's chagrin when Captain Al-Rashan assigned him and Private Voyskunsky to guard the room holding doctor Joseph Takeda. Voyskunsky was a cynical Nod soldier who joined Nod out of hate for GDI, but disliked fanatics like Isembi.
While in combat, Isembi and Voyskunsky were captured. Later, Michael McNeil showed both men the damage wreaked on their base (and much of the San Diego Blue zone), it was expected that he would crumble. However, Isembi's faith was strengthened because he saw not the damage done to Nod, but the damage GDI inflicted on its own land. He spent the rest of the war at Fort Powell's brig with Voyskunsky as a POW.
Appearances[edit | edit source]
Hugh Isembi appears only in the Tiberium Wars novel.
