Republic of India
The Indian subcontinent is the home of one of the world's oldest and most influential civilizations. A region of historic trade routes and vast empires, India has long been associated with its commercial and cultural wealth. The modern Republic of India was founded in 1947, after more than a century of British rule. Its capital city is Delhi.
During the Tiberium Wars, India has been a valued member of the Global Defence Initiative in the struggle against Nod aggression and Tiberium infestation. By 2047, much of India has been turned into Yellow Zones by Tiberium, saving a few areas in the mountainous north which remained pristine Blue Zones. Commander, Michael McNeil has a Second-in-Command man, named Chandra and he is from Indian descent.
Chandra, second in command of Michael McNeil, was a key member in the form of Indian descent during the wars. During the wars with Nod, India wasn't a target for any missions for both the terrorists and GDI, the organisation that the country took part in, after being an Allied member in the Second World War. By the time of the Third Tiberium War, Nod's arrogance and Tiberium was struggled in GDI's defense. Much of India had been turned into a yellow zone by the crystals and the northern part, is preciously blue zoned territory.
There was at least three missions taking place in India. The Tiberian Wastelands and Tin City is where GST Tzadik was shot down by Nod forces, later repaired by GDI forces before escaping the area from both Nod and Forgotten forces in the area. Another one was the Giraud-Moebius Tiberium crater where Gideon with being on the verge of defeat attempted to self-destruct his base, but Nod loyalists stopped his plan and arrested him to banish the Nod Separatists from the Fourth Tiberium War.
India was a member of the Allies in the Second World War. It gave support to the European Allies, notably Great Britain because of her large empire. During the Second World War, India forced itself to declare independence from Britain in 1947 as the Soviet Union couldn't ally Sudan, Pakistan or Vietnam drawn into the conflict. By 1953, the war was entirely over and India was still a member for the Allied Forces. It still went through 1972 until 1986, when the Empire of the Rising Sun was repelled from taking over land in Asia to start the War of Three Powers.
