The Mutant Marauder is a common Nod infantry unit in Command & Conquer: Rivals.

Background[edit | edit source]

Mutant Marauders are hulking mercenaries that have been ravaged by Tiberium mutations. The largest type of Forgotten mutants, the Marauders' super strength and size allows them to wield powerful improvised weapons form scavenged Obelisk parts.

Abilities[edit | edit source]

Can target infantry, strong against vehicles, cannot target air. Reveals invisible units. Immune to Tiberium fields.

Game unit[edit | edit source]

Mutants are a very strong anti-vehicle infantry squad with ample of health. They are more on the expensive side, so protection against infantry threats are critical. This is where Chem Buggy can help -- if any infantry comes close to the mutants, Chem Buggy can do the drive-by spray on them.

Marauder/Chem Buggy pair is most efficient on the maps with a single defending point, since the Mutants can't move very fast.

Even with attack from air, Marauders have plenty of hit points to withstand air attacks until help arrives. Although they will fall prey to the Razorback quickly.

Personality[edit | edit source]

♂ Has gravely voice. Seems to be very concerned with aesthetics. When idle, roars across the battlefield.

Changelog[edit | edit source]

  • Patch 1.5.0 2019-04-23:
    • Initial Attack Delay reduced to 0 from 0.25
    • Attack speed increased to 3.0 from 4.0
    • Now immune to Tiberium field damage
  • Balance update 2019-06-05:
    • Damage reduced to 382 (was 400)
    • Health decreased to 620 (was 650)
