Background[edit | edit source]
Built on the ruins of the old Monaco (which did not survive the ecological devastation brought upon by Tiberium), the new city rests on massive city platforms. The elevation above ground level gives it ample protection from the contaminated environment below.
Overview[edit | edit source]
The city rests on a platform elevated c.a. 15 storeys above the ground (about 45-50 meters). It is protected not only by the elevation, but also by a special underground shield.
In-game[edit | edit source]
The player would arrive at New Monaco's sky dock right after narrowly escaping death at the hands of the Scrin invaders at Threshold 19. Then, he'd slowly work his way through the city, fighting Scrin invaders on the way, witnessing first hand their destruction of the city. The level would end in the vicinity of an elevated express way cutting through the city.
