The Nod power plant can generate extraordinary amounts of power from a small amount of Tiberium, at the expense of ecological damage to the surrounding environment. Its output can be bolstered by a Liquid Tiberium core.
This building is the most effective power plant in the game, as the core upgrade triples the power output. Though its unupgraded power output is the lowest in the game.
