The power plant supplied power to the Brotherhood in Tiberium Wars and Kane's Wrath.
Background[edit | edit source]
The Nod power plant can generate extraordinary amounts of power from a small amount of Tiberium, at the expense of ecological damage to the surrounding environment. Its output can be bolstered by a Liquid Tiberium core.[1]
Upgrades[edit | edit source]
Liquid Tiberium core | Available once an Operations Center is constructed, Liquid Tiberium Cores allow Power Plants to generate three times as much power for a small fee of $500. This upgrade must be applied individually to each Power Plant. | Purchasable at Power Plants itseft |
In-game[edit | edit source]
This building is the most effective power plant in the game, as the core upgrade triples the power output. Though its unupgraded power output is the lowest in the game.
Notes[edit | edit source]
Originally, this building was designed for Command & Conquer 3: Incursion as CABAL's geothermal power plant.
Changelog[edit | edit source]
- Tiberium Wars patch 1.05: no longer provides ground control
- Tiberium Wars patch 1.09: fixed an error that caused upgraded power plants and reactors to continue providing power for several seconds after being destroyed
