The President's Chopper was the personal helicopter of the President of the United States, Howard T. Ackerman.
Background[edit | edit source]
After President Ackerman's plan to level Moscow with an intercontinental laser weapon hidden within Mount Rushmore was stopped by the Allied Commander. The mad President Chronoshifted his presidential state car to a helipad defended by troops loyal to him and boarded this helicopter.
Ackerman attempted to flee Mount Rushmore in this helicopter, but the Allied forces managed to shoot it down, killing the mad president.
Game unit[edit | edit source]
The helicopter will fly in from north of the map after the Rushmore Firebase is destroyed, carrying five Javelin soldiers and escorted by Apollo fighters and Vindicators. It will land near the airfield at the south of the map and unload its passengers, allowing them to cover Ackerman's escape. In the meantime, the President's Limo will be Chronoshifted to the airfield, and Ackerman will board the helicopter.
After Ackerman is on board, the helicopter will attempt to escape the area by flying west. It must be shot down to complete the mission. If it successfully leaves the map, the mission fails.
The helicopter is completely invulnerable and impossible to target before it picks up Ackerman.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- The helicopter appears to be based on Marine One, United States Marine Corps helicopters responsible for carrying the President of the United States.
- When the helicopter crashes, it goes down in green flames like Imperial vehicles. This hints at Ackerman's true identity as an Imperial android.
