Promotion Points are used to access General Powers in Command and Conquer: Generals and Zero Hour.
Background[]
They are gained when a general is promoted by destroying a certain number of units. The promotion points may then be used by the general to purchase different abilities available to their faction such as the Fuel Air Bomb for the USA, Cluster mines for China, or the Anthrax Bomb for the GLA.
Points per Rank[]
When a General is promoted, they gain a certain number of promotion points depending on their rank:
- 1 star Generals automatically start with one promotion point.
- Each time they are promoted up another star, they get only one promotion point.
- When a general gets to five stars, he/she will gain 3 points.
