4:00 (psychic reveal)
Background[edit | edit source]
This structure was originally available to the Soviet Union in the initial timeline of the war as a result of the Psychic Corps' efforts. However, as Yuri's plot for world domination was uncovered and a new timeline began, the majority of the work by the Psychic Corps was claimed by Yuri's army and was inaccessible to the Soviets.
In-game structure[edit | edit source]
Like the original psychic sensor, this device is able to predict enemies who would attempt to attack within 15 tiles of the surrounding area, including regular troop movements, superweapon markers, submerged units, and spies.
In addition to these functionalities, the psychic radar is now able to function as a standalone radar array. It also grants the use of the psychic reveal support power. Building multiple psychic radars would stack their respective detection radii, but only one psychic reveal support power could be available at a time.
Psychic reveal[edit | edit source]
The psychic reveal suppport power, in no better explained way than its core functionality, allows the psychic radar to uncover a small radius of the map's shroud. However, the side-effect of this ability was a distinct noise in the affected area which gave away its use to allies and enemies alike. If used upon an area covered by a gap generator, that area would be shown very briefly before being covered again, supposing the gap generator was powered.
