The Sandstorm is an epic GDI tech hovercraft in Command & Conquer: Rivals.
Background[edit | edit source]
The AHV-8 Sandstorm is a GDI hover vehicle first fielded after the 3rd Tiberium War. The Sandstorm is noteable for its ability to fire a seemingly endless volley of guided missiles at multiple enemy air and ground forces simultaneously.
Abilities[edit | edit source]
Strong against vehicles and aircraft. Deals damage to up to 3 enemies in an arc.
Game unit[edit | edit source]
Sandstorm is a late game unit that can deal with all manner of air threats and can deal wreak havoc for lower tier vehicles. As such it's used as a tech spalsh unit for GDI aggro decks.
Although light anti-vehicle infantry like Laser Squad will eventually take down a Sandstorm, it's high health means that it might be too late, therefore a better answer to the Sandstorm is an infantry with a stronger punch or some baiting tactics before heavy hitting vehicles or aircraft moves in.
The amphibious nature of the unit makes it capable of quickly moving across maps which have ponds.
Personality[edit | edit source]
Professional, at times emotional. When idle, move the rocket launcher around.
