The Shatterer is a rare GDI vehicle unit in Command & Conquer: Rivals.

Background[edit | edit source]

The GDI Shatterer is an infantry suppression weapon that combines GDI hover tech and sonic tech. The Shatterer's concentrated sonic-seismic hybrid wave damages and stuns enemy infantry units.

Abilities[edit | edit source]

Effective against infantry and structures, cannot target air. Stuns enemy Infantry with each attack.

Game unit[edit | edit source]

Shatterer is a fairly cheap anti-infantry vehicle. The main strength of the unit is its ability to stun infantry, greatly reducing their Movement Speed and somewhat reducing the Attack Speed. This makes them most effective on defense, where lighter infantry will fall even before they manage to position themselves to attack. If the infantry is the only viable option, sending in several squads at the same time can overwhelm the Shatterer. This can be countered by M.S.V. and Jackson boosts.

Being a specialist unit, it is vulnerable to armor and aircraft. It works well together with other specialists, like Slingshot and M.L.R.S.

Personality[edit | edit source]

House music DJ. When taking orders, puts the music on. Uses air horn when happy. When idle, turns around aimlessly.
