Background[edit | edit source]
These triangular aircraft were used by GDI commanders in supersonic air strikes, and were capable of wiping out enemy aircraft by flying in from high altitude and generating a sonic boom shockwave that heavily damages all aircraft in the vicinity.
During LEGION's mission to capture Dr. Alphonse Giraud in his Chilean lab, several supersonic fighters were sighted on a runway close to the Ironside experimental troop transport. Just like the Ironside, these fighters were unmanned and could be easily destroyed.
In-game[edit | edit source]
A space command uplink is required to call in these fighters, and it also comes with a hefty price tag-2500 credits. Despite its inability to attack ground forces, however, it is extremely effective against air forces, especially the Scrin's Devastator warships and Planetary assault carriers.
They also strike their targets with minimal delay, making it easy to cripple advancing Air Forces without impunity.
