The Technology Inhibitor was a signal scrambling device used by the Allies.

History[edit | edit source]

Third World War (Red Alert 3)[edit | edit source]

The Allied science facility at Mykonos was protected by a technology inhibitor, which prevented the Soviet forces from using their most advanced technology. The Soviet Commander was given the option of destroying the tech inhibitor.[1]

The Uprising[edit | edit source]

During The Uprising, Imperial commander-turned warlord Kenji Tenzai somehow reverse-engineered a technology inhibitor and hid it in his compound in Osaka. After the Allied forces sent to capture him destroyed his headquarters, Kenji activated the device, which disabled all of the vehicles and structures in the area except his personal King Oni, while also preventing the Allies from using their Chronosphere.[2]

Kenji's tech inhibitor was subsequently destroyed by an Allied strike team consisting of Tanya and Cryo Legionnaires, who also froze Kenji's King Oni. With the Chronosphere back online, Kenji was teleported away to be detained.[2]
