The VIP Bunker was a type of bunker first seen during the Third World War.

Background[edit | edit source]

VIP bunkers were used as command centers for high-ranking commanders on the battlefield. Thus, they were well armoured and were often heavily guarded.

In No Traitors Tomorrow, General Nikolai Krukov commanded his forces from a VIP bunker. After Premier Cherdenko labelled him a traitor, the Soviet Commander destroyed the bunker, killing Krukov and forcing his remaining forces to surrender.

In To Tame a Living God, all three Imperial commanders in charge of the defense of the Imperial palace: Kenji Tenzai, Shinzo Nagama, and Naomi Shirada, were based in their own VIP bunker. All three bunkers were destroyed, and the commanders were killed.

In The Last Red Blossom Trembled, Field Marshal Robert Bingham commands his forces from an Allied VIP bunker. This is the only appearance of the Allied VIP bunker in the base game.

In The True Shogun's Stand, the rebellious Imperial warlord Takara Sato commanded her army from a VIP bunker, which was destroyed by the Allied Commander. After Takara's defeat, Tatsu betrayed the Allies and ordered an attack on the Commander from another VIP bunker. He was defeated, and the VIP bunker was also destroyed.
