Westwood Chat was a client created by Westwood Studios for the purpose of organizing multiplayer matches for Command & Conquer: Gold, Red Alert (with support for the Counterstrike and The Aftermath expansions), and Sole Survivor through the Westwood Online server and acted as an external chat lobby.

It was available in UK English, US English, French, German, and Japanese.

Later titles which used Westwood Online for their multiplayer gameplay had the functionalities of Westwood Chat completely integrated and expanded, hence the separate application was last updated in 1998.
