The Amphibious Transport is a naval vehicle used by the USA during the War against the GLA. It served to move infantry and vehicles from a location to another over water.

Game Unit

The Amphibious Transport only appears in the campaign and cannot be controlled by the player. However, you can control the transport in different mods.

Campaign

The amphibious transport made an appearance during the Defending The Docks mission for the USA. It was used to deliver a convoy to the mainland off of an island so the convoy of ten trucks could drop off relief supplies in a nearby civilian warehouse. It dropped off each of the ten trucks separately.

In the USA mission 4, some Amphibious transports are seen dropping off troops onto the beaches

The amphibious transport in real life resembles a Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC), but with a covered-up cargo section.
