The Centurion is a Nod tech vehicle in Command & Conquer: Rivals.
Background
Centurion is the result of Kane's demand for “a mechanical Praetorian Guard, worthy of defending the God's chosen on earth.” The centurion is piloted by battle-hardened veterans, and equipped with a unique “Testudo” shield system able to absorb heavy weapon attacks, making it ideal for defensive operations.
Abilities
Strong against Vehicles, can target infantry, cannot target air. Periodically negates incoming damage.
Game unit
Fast moving and can stand up to heavy hitters, the Centurion is quite late capable anti-vehicle unit. The shield's ability to fully absorb incoming fire makes it especially strong against slow hitting units, like Titans and Predator Tank. It can even survive a direct blast of Ion cannon without as much as scratched paint.
However the shield will disappear with the slightest incoming damage, making it almost useless when receiving fast chip damage form units like Drone Swarm.
Personality
Monotone mechanical sounding voice. Concerned with afterlife and honor. When idle, hits the stock on the ground.
