The machine-gun nest is a defense structure available to GDI in Tiberium Alliances. The structure is identical to Nod and Forgotten counterparts but however, unlike the Shredder MGs, the GDI MG Nest is already available at the start.

Manned by one GDI soldier, the machine-gun nest will mow down infantry, but is susceptible to enemy machine gun fire. A few of these placed side by side will create a huge threat. They can also defend against incoming aircraft.
