San Pedro is a community within the city of Los Angeles, California[1]. It was the location of a major GDI war factory.
History[]
The San Pedro war factory was responsible for the production of Mammoth Mk. II walker. However, after the Firestorm Conflict, production of the Mark II was discontinued due to cost and reliability issues. The last Mammoth Mk. II to enter active duty left the war factory on March 12th, 2039. Since production of the new Mammoth Mk. III was scheduled to take place in Reykjavik, many in San Pedro feared for their jobs and the future of their community[2].
Fortunately for the people of San Pedro, GDI restarted its walker program during the Incursion War, and the city's war factory was renovated for the production of GDI's next generation assault walker - the AW-12 Mastodon. The first Mastodon rolled out of the San Pedro factory in 2069, exactly thirty years after the last Mammoth Mk. II did[3].
