Ren2-gameicon The following is based on the cancelled game Renegade 2 and has not been confirmed by canon sources.

The Soviet Wall Hub was a static heavy defense structure set to appear in Renegade 2.

Background

Made of steel reinforced concrete and covered with interlocking panels of titanium, this static defensive structure has hardpoints for weapons to be attached. Armament could range from machine guns and flamethrowers to antiarmor cannons and SAM turrets; even small bunkers could be placed on top of the wall hubs. Every piece of a defensive wall was to be full destructible, but would take a very long while to do so without the aid of heavy weapons. Soviet walls differ from others only in appearance; their function was exactly the same. They would be placed around one or more Soviet structures (or other structures captured from a rival faction) to provide a first line of defense against enemies. The armaments that could be equipped to the hubs provided an extra measure of defense to the otherwise static, passive structure and made it more difficult for enemy forces to gain entrance.
