UP

UP, or Upgrade Points, are used in Tiberium Twilight to get upgrades for units and crawlers and to purchase higher tech levels. All upgrades must be purchased with Upgrade Points, though some are not available until higher ranks are reached. Upgrade Points are obtained by collecting Tiberium from the Idris Corporation pads and bringing them back to an area controlled by your team (the spawn zones and any controlled Uplink Towers). Green Tiberium provides 1 UP, while Blue Tiberium provides 2 UP. When Tiberium is collected, each team member gets the number of UP provided by the Tiberium. Without UP, a team will be confined to Tier I units and thus getting the Tiberium is vitally important for victory.
